Record Breaking GCSE Success

Best ever GCSE results in 2011 have contributed to our three year upward trend of raising standards.

75% of students gained at least 5 GCSE’s A* - C

60% including English and Maths

The hard work and dedication of our students, staff and parents are a tribute to the school.

Special praise must go to the exceptional performances of 21 students who achieved 8 A* or A grades and 42 who achieved 5 or more A* or A grades.

A record number of our Year 11 students have stayed on into Alleyne’s Sixth Form to study a combination of A Level subjects.

Excellent A Level Results

Congratulations to all our Sixth Form students. 17 of our subjects had a 100% pass rate and an overall 20% of all subject entries were awarded an A* or A grade.

73% of our students got into their first choice university with destinations including Cambridge, London and Paris.

Several students have successfully obtained full time employment, whilst others have chosen the apprenticeship route.

2011 has been an excellent year for Alleyne’s High School. Congratulations to all our students and I wish you a wonderful future.
